This jacket is exactly like we think it should be a winter jacket. We started with a list of things that we didn't like in current jackets and we did to perfect these aspects and, in the meantime, we made our best jacket ever.

The first problem to be solved was related to the management of humidity. Even the best of the fabrics on the market guarantees a good level of breathability, but it cannot do anything against the sweat generated during high intensity training. Thus, we invented a construction with two layers that allows you to have protection from the wind and at the same time, with the open external layer and the closed internal layer, allows the air flow inside the jacket to evaporate the humidity, avoiding it goes into direct contact with the skin. On a long climb, we will completely open the external layer to allow humidity to escape, while when we start the descent, we will close this layer, feeling dry completions inside. It works so well that sometimes it really looks like magic. The novelty for this year is a softer and hotter insulating layer in 3D that ensures heat, humidity management and fit.

Then, we focused on the openings: neck, hips and, more than everything, the wrists. The neck is high and is shaped to move with you, both when you get up on the pedals and when you put yourself in aerodynamic position, transforming yourself into a January hero who attacks his pedaling companions. For life, we created a layer with a silicone band that adheres flat, keeping the wind completely out, without deforming or folding up. The novelty for this year is a revolutionary double fabric on the opening of the wrist with an internal layer that slips under your glove and adheres to the wrist and an external one that is above the glove to prevent the rain that slides from the outside of the glove, penetrates inside along the arm.

Obviously, the latest generation jacket will also make a good impression with the wet, so we used the Gore-Tex Infinium ™ Windstopper® fabric together with thermo taped seams in critical points such as shoulder. The other seams are hidden by the direct flow of water and the water -repellent treatment is sufficient to prevent most of the humidity from penetrating. We call it "essentially waterproof", using our subjective judgment to find a balance between protection from water, breathability and comfort. This does not mean that no drop will ever penetrate, but we have made long pedaling in the pouring rain and we were totally dry.

All these features make it the favorite of the corridors of the Ineos team and the most versatile jacket for high quality performance during training with cold climate that we have ever created.
